It's not a secret, I have lived in Canada for over a year and mainly in Toronto. In this article, I'm sharing with you the places I discovered and loved over there. Especially if, like me, you are a sweet toot. Remember, we're not liars here - so if you love it, say it - I love everything that is tasty and very sweet like chocolate, candies, ice cream, cookies, crepes, pancakes, you know... Once on the lips, forever on the hips as they say but I just can't help myself. I visited all these places (ok, most of these) with my soulmate, the one and only Margarita. Girl, if you read this: I miss you. Anyway, I share with you all these place I remember in this article and as I'm such a nice person, I also provide website and location.
OLD SCHOOL
The best pancakes ever. We went to this restaurant on a beautiful day, we both have a sweet tooth so you'll see a lot of desert type of food in this article. We ordered pancakes and there were 15$ each, it was delicious, it took me 3 meals to finish it. There was 5 humongous pancakes, topped up with jam and fruits and a small glass of maple syrup. Holy guacamole, that was amazing. I remember myself eating the leftovers on the next day, for breaking. I love pancakes, I just love it so much.

DUTCH DREAMS ICE CREAM PARLOUR
These are dutch waffle cones dipped in chocolate for most of them and filled with ice cream and topped-up with cream, fruits and cotton candy, mine was chocolate and mint, because it's just my favorite ice cream combo you know. The place itself is a gem, it's beautifully decorated, the counters are full of sweet food and it's not even expensive. The waffle cones are around 6$ each, which isn't expensive for the quantity of food you're having.

EVA'S ORIGINAL CHIMNEYS
These are donuts cone topped-up with ice cream and a lot of other stuff depending on what you're having, it's Hungarian and oh my god, this was so good. I remember eating and having more chocolate around my mouth than inside, you know. I don't remember exactly which one I got but it was so yummy. These can go up to 10$ but it's so worth it. You should definitely try these, even if it's not in Toronto, there's probably other shop that are making some, if not fly to Hungary (Hung-ary - sorry), there are plenty in Budapest.

WAREHOUSE
This is actually a canadian restaurant, sort of a chain to be honest. Do not judge a book by its cover, their mini donuts served with toffee sauce are so yummy. We used to get some to share, I can't find the words to say how much I miss this! I definitely recommend the place itself, it's so cheap and really nice. It's less than 6$ all that, everyday. Just check this out, there are few in Canada, you'll find everything on the website.

HOLLYWOOD CONE
There are two of them: one in Toronto which is closed now and one in Oshawa which is still open. Even if the Toronto location is closed, I remember how I struggled to finish my shake, I actually didn't. I mean, check the picture and you'll definitely understand how hard it was.

I don't know if this inspires you but personally, I'm starving right now. If you are a sweet tooth like me, you probably can relate to all of that. So, tell me, what are your favorite places to go when you're craving sweet food? Share your places, I'm really curious and maybe this will inspire me for my future trips. Also, do you prefer sweet food or salty?
