Good morning Upper East Siders. Guess who finally travelled in New York City less than a month ago? Big clue: the girl who owns this blog. Sorry, I'm so obsessed with Gossip Girl, I had to start this article like this. Anyway, I just wanted to say that I had the opportunity to visit New York lately, after dreaming about it for years and years and honestly, it was an amazing (but too short) trip. Maybe the best so far. Unfortunately, the first day was rainy and gloomy which kinda sucks. The full day was literally a mess, the coach was lost when we were waiting at Buffalo, like how the f*ck is that even possible? Loosing a coach, really? We have been waiting for more than two hours. And when they told us they fixed the bus issue, when I tried to get in it, they couldn't even find me on the schedule. I seriously thought I would never be able to go to NYC.
Other than that, the second and last days were nice, with some sun, proof is in the photos. I walked a lot, took the NY subway, had great food and went everywhere I wanted to go: Empire State Building, Upper East Side, Central Park etc.
Anyway, I stop talking. Down below, you'll discover the pictures I took during my trip. Enjoy it!
(Update, from the future: unsure why this article is listed as being published in 2024, as I wrote it in June 2018. I tried to re-write it, but my memory of those days seems to be long gone now. Hopefully, I'll get to visit New York again in the future and better articles will come out of it!)
